METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR DETERMINING AN ELONGATION STATE OF A CONVEYOR BELT The invention relates to a method for determining an elongation state of a conveyor belt of a belt conveyor apparatus, a conveyor belt for a belt conveyor apparatus and an arrangement for determining an elongation state of a conveyor belt of a belt conveyor apparatus. Conveyor belts of belt conveyor apparatuses, especially webbing belts, which are used in continuous conveyors for example, require a defined degree of stretching in order to operate, so that, on the one hand, sufficient frictional contact between a drive cylinder and the conveyor belt is achieved and, on the other hand, unproblematic belt running can be ensured. If the belt is stretched too tightly, it gives rise to excessive forces, especially on drive and deflection cylinders and bearings, as a result of which the latter are damaged. Apart from that, stretching too tightly can damage the belt itself. Conversely, if the belt is not stretched tightly enough, this can cause excessive sagging or undesirably great slip in the belt. The elongation state of a conveyor belt has to be checked at regular intervals and corrected if necessary. Measuring the elongation of the conveyor belt ought to be possible while the belt conveyor apparatus is in an operative state, since it may otherwise be necessary to relax the conveyor belt and then tension it again, which is time-consuming. The object of the invention is therefore to improve a method and arrangement for determining an elongation state of a conveyor belt and a conveyor belt suitable for that purpose in such a way that it becomes possible, in a simple, quick, inexpensive and time-saving manner, to determine an elongation state of a conveyor belt without relaxing it first. With regard to the method, the invention proposes that the conveyor belt should be subjected to a predefined initial longitudinal tension and, in that state, two recesses are introduced into the conveyor belt, proceeding from a conveying surface of the conveyor belt, which, seen in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt, are spaced apart from one another by a predefined initial distance, the conveyor belt is subjected to an operating longitudinal tension and in that state a mutual operating spacing of the recesses is determined, and an operating elongation of the conveyor belt is determined as a function of the initial spacing and the operating spacing. The recesses are preferably introduced by punching. It is possible for the recesses to be introduced (merely) over part of a local thickness of the conveyor belt, especially over at least 10 %, 25 % or 50 % of the thickness of the conveyor belt. Alternatively, it may be contemplated that the recesses are introduced so as to penetrate completely through the conveyor belt, or in other words in the form of holes. The recesses may be introduced cylindrically and may be the same or different in diameter, especially having a diameter of 1 mm to 20 mm, especially 1 mm to 5 mm. The recesses may be introduced with a rectangular or square cross-section, with a side length of the cross-section of 1 mm to 20 mm, especially 1 mm to 5 mm. The recesses may either be introduced on a longitudinal central axis of the conveyor belt or on a parallel thereto, such as in a marginal region or even immediately adjacent to a longitudinal edge of the conveyor belt, and they may be introduced spaced apart from each other by a distance ranging between 10 cm and 10 m, especially 50 cm to 5 m. In order to make it easier to find the recesses, it is possible to apply a locating mark adjacent to one or both recesses (in each case), especially as a mark on the conveyor belt which is coloured and/or reflecting and/or concentric to the recess. If the recesses are introduced over part of a local thickness of the conveyor belt, it may be contemplated that a base of the recess is configured so as to be coloured or reflecting . The object of the invention is further achieved by a conveyor belt for a belt conveyor apparatus wherein two recesses are introduced into the conveyor belt, proceeding from a conveying surface of the conveyor belt, which, at a predefined longitudinal tension of the conveyor belt, are spaced apart from one another by a predefined initial distance when seen in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt. Finally, the problem underlying the invention is solved by an arrangement for determining an elongation state of a conveyor belt of a belt conveyor apparatus, comprising a conveyor belt in accordance with the invention, especially for carrying out the method of the invention, with a distance measuring device for detecting the operating spacing of the recesses. The distance measuring device may operate optically or mechanically, wherein, in the latter case, it has two probe tips spaced apart mutually by a variable distance for mechanical engagement in the recesses. The distance measuring device is preferably configured to be portable. It may include an evaluation unit which determines the operating elongation of the conveyor belt on the basis of a predefined initial spacing and a detected operating spacing. The invention makes it possible for the elongation state and hence the operating longitudinal tension of a conveyor belt to be measured during uninterrupted operation of the conveyor belt, such as by optically detecting the operating spacing of the recesses, or, in the case of a conveyor belt standing still, by for example mechanically detecting the mutual spacing. The invention will now be explained by describing a worked embodiment, reference being made to a drawing, in which - Fig. 1 shows a schematic longitudinal section view of a longitudinal portion of a conveyor belt in accordance with the invention, in which two recesses piercing the conveyor belt are introduced, and - Fig. 2 shows a view corresponding to Fig. 1 with recesses only partially penetrating the conveyor belt. Fig. 1 shows a portion of a conveyor belt 2 in a longitudinal section view cut vertically to a conveying surface 4 of the conveyor belt 2, wherein a conveying direction 5 or longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt runs in the plane of the drawing. Spaced apart mutually by a distance a, two recesses 6, 8 are introduced right through the conveyor belt, such as by punching. The recesses 6, 8 are preferably round in cross- section, but may also have a differently shaped cross-section, such as rectangular, square or otherwise polygonal. It may also be contemplated that the recesses do not extend completely through the conveyor belt 2, as Fig. 1 shows, but, proceeding from the conveying surface 4, only through part of the thickness of the conveyor belt D, such as through at least 10 %, 25 % or 50 % of D. Fig. 2 shows an embodiment in which the recesses 6, 8 not only extend merely through part of the thickness of the conveyor belt D, but wherein a flat recess base 10 is provided in addition, which is inclined at an angle to the conveying surface 4, thus facilitating the introduction of the recess by punching. For easier optical registration of a recess which does not run through the complete thickness of the belt, it may be expeditious to coat the recess base so as to be reflecting. In the context of the invention, any appropriate degree of spacing may be used as the mutual spacing between the recesses, such as the distance between a centre line of one recess from a centre line of the other recess or, as may make sense in particular in the case of embodiments according to Fig. 2, a mutual distance from parts of the recesses which are easy to detect with measuring technology, in this case the mutual distance a' from opposing vertical surfaces of the two recesses. When the conveyor belt is subjected to a predefined initial longitudinal tension acting in the longitudinal direction 5, the distance a or a' is an initial spacing, which, in the course of operating at an operating longitudinal tension, grows larger and becomes an operating spacing.
